Dell Inc. Drops!

Today Dell Inc. had a really bad day trading day on Wall Street. Their shares dropped more than 10 percent because of cutbacks by big corporation on information technology. A lot of big company’s out there have really started to hold back on spending in the tech areas. These big companies are basically working with what they have. And when that happens company’s like Dell will feel the pinch. Dell reported a huge drop of 17 percent decline in quarterly profit related to the cutbacks from big corporate spending. And now it’s our turn to feel the cutbacks, by our shares losing value. Dell’s shares ended after some extended hours of trading to $22.64. Of course this won’t just be happening to Dell, others will start showing the same results.

Former President Clinton!

It’s official now, Barack Obama’s bid for the White House will backed by the Clinton’s. Hillary made her speech to back out of the bid and put her support behind Barack. Then Bill Clinton followed up with his endorsement. Which I feel is a dog and pony show. After all the bashing that went on between Hillary and Barack how could either one stand behind Barack. I personally could care less who is our next President; I just want a “leader” in there. We need someone that could lead us back to being the “ Top Dogs” of the world. So over the next few months we’re all going to see a lot of bashing between Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama, oh boy, can’t wait. I personally want to hear what their going to do for the United States, not everything the other one is doing wrong. We need a new leader, and I hope to God that we get one.

LPGA Tour Speaks!

I was just reading that the LPGA is going to require tour players to speak English. This new policy will be in affect starting in 2009. And if you’re already a LPGA Tour player you will need to know it (English) very soon. Because if you’re unable to speak it you will be suspended until you do. I was reading that no one from the LPGA has made it clear why this is going to be policy. Here’s what Libba Galloway told The Associated Press, “Athletes now have more responsibilities and we want to help their professional development. There are more fans, more media and more sponsors. We want to help our athletes as best we can succeed off the golf course as well as on it.” If this is the real reason then I say go for it. After all the LPGA is an America Association and I guess English needs to be spoken by all their card members.

Airlines Fares!

I was just reading that Southwest Airlines is going to be lowering their rates. And that means other airlines will need to do the same to keep up. With the cost of fuel coming back down airlines can no longer justify the high rates. Or charge a fee for bring your luggage with you. You know, that extra fee that makes no since. I think most people would have been sold on the fact of just raising the rates. Instead of charging $25 per piece of luggage. Anyway, with the new rate schedules coming out maybe people will start traveling again.
