Forming His Staff!
President-elect Barack Obama is starting to form his staff. And I thought I would never say this but he’s making some good choices. His staff is starting to look a lot like the Clinton era. Clinton had a lot of smart people working on his staff; they got a lot done. Unlike Bush number 2, he really had no one good working for him. I shouldn’t really say that, there where a few who where great at what they did, Bush just made them all look bad. Hopefully this new White House leadership team will come in and get things done. Obama falls short in a lot of areas, so he’s going to need a lot experience people working for him. And I think that’s what he’s doing. He’s only got 4 good years to make a change, if he fails at it he won’t be there for another 4 years. But if he makes good choices and changes things for the better he will be in office for 8 years.
Pelted With Flour!
What in the world was Lindsay Lohan thinking when she showed up to a nightclub sporting a fur stole? In Paris this is a big no – no thing to do. The animal rights activists over there do take crap from anyone. And they will get you, just like they got her. This all went down at the VIP Room Theater Saturday. Lohan wasn’t alone when she got the flour bomb dropped on her, her friend, disc jockey Samantha Ronson was with her. I would like to add that I think what the animal rights activists did to Lohan was wrong. But she should also know better for wearing fur to the club in Paris. The animal rights activists over there are very serious about what they believe in, and will stand up for it. I bet next time Lohan won’t wear far to another event.
Another Rate Cut!
With the U.S. and World financial markets spinning down out of control, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is thinking of cutting the interest rate again. But he won’t be alone with this cut; other world markets will be doing the same. We will have to wait for this next rate cut though. The Fed will meet again Dec. 16, which will be their last regular meeting this year. With the U.S. economy in its worst shape ever we might need this rate cut sooner. But then again will this rate cut even be enough to help our economy, I really don’t know. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens next. Hopefully Bernanke will be able to pull a fresh start out of his hat.
