Somewhat back!

As you all can see I haven’t been posting much these last few days. I kind of taking a few days off to get caught up on things, we’ll a lot of things. With Christmas and the New Year so close together I kind of lose my mind this time every year. But I’m trying really hard to stay current with everyone, and myself. So I will be back to posting in a few days, and ask that you all keep stopping by. Hopefully I’ll have some good information to share with everyone very soon.

Traveling On Christmas Eve!

I was just reading that people across the U.S. are stranded due to snow and ice storms. Most of these stranded passengers are located in Chicago at O’Hare International Airport. What makes me wonder the most about people that travel on Christmas eve is just why do they wait to leave on this day? I mean come on people, this happens every year and you still leave on Christmas Eve. I think they enjoy sleeping at the airport during this holiday. They have to, why else would they wait so long to go visit family. Now I know some of you will say, maybe they have jobs and can’t leave until then. But I don’t think that’s the reason. Your right about the job reason, but the reason they wait is because they want to squeeze that one extra day of vacation in before they leave. And as most of you know, that day is the Christmas party and nothing gets down anyway, so they stay. And then the big storm hits and now their stuck in an airport. My advice is, check the weather channel next time, and leave on the 22nd.

Going Home For The Holidays!

If your unsure about heading home for the holidays you should maybe consider just going. That’s what President-elect Barack Obama and his family is doing, heading back home to wear he was born, Hawaii. And I can’t say I don’t blame them for wanting to get out of Chicago. It’s so cold in the northeastern part of the United States I’m surprise everyone hasn’t left already. We’ll, some of us like it up here, just not when it’s this cold all the time. I sure would love to take a little trip to the Bahamas or Hawaii right now. I sure could use a break as well. You know what, I’m going to head on over to Shermans Travel to see if they have any travel deals worth taking a serious look at. These guys have some of the best rates to some of the best hot spots. If you’re looking to travel anytime soon check them first, you might find a deal. Anyway, head home for the holidays, it will be the best choice you will make all year, and you’ll be glad you did.
