The Vikings Wall!

I should first state that what your about to read is completely one sided. I’m a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, and a happy one at that. That’s because today a Minnesota judge temporarily blocked the NFL’s suspension of Vikings Kevin and Pat Williams. The NFL is trying to suspend them for violating the league’s anti-doping policy. But here’s the problem; they didn’t really violate the policy. The two of them where taking a diuretic that can be used to hide steroids in your body. The substance they we’re taking is perfectly legal. It’s that the NFL bans some of the ingredients in it. Now this is why both Kevin and Pat Williams feel they where cheated by the NFL. On the bottle of the product they where using did not list all the ingredients, but the league’s scientists and lawyers knew what was in the product but never told the players. So how in the world can you suspend two players when you, the NFL never told the players what was in it. To keep this short, the NFL said that they where going to take this case to the to federal court in Minneapolis to get the suspensions reinstated. I think this is raw deal for all NFL players, the NFL should share all information the get to keep all players safe and following the rules of the game.

Automakers Meet Again!

Its looking like Detroit’s Big Three won’t be getting the bailout money anytime soon. And it looks to be mostly the Democrats fault. I say this because they have the most pull on Capitol Hill. The Senate’s Democratic leader Harry Reid said there still weren’t enough votes to tap the $700 billion federal bailout fund. Maybe Sen. Harry Reid should get a turbocharger and get both parties to work together. Because if they can’t put their differences aside we’re going to end up in a depression. And when that happens all the finger pointing starts. That’s just how things are done on Capitol Hill. Everyone loves to point the finger at the other just to satisfy themselves. I think the automakers will get the money, but they might have to wait until President-elect Obama comes into office next year. And that’s when Obama will give the loan their seeking.
