Rescue Bill Passes House!

President Barack Obama got his first bill passed in the House, which the Democrats rule. The vote was 244-188, with all the Republicans voting against it. I really don’t like seeing a bill pass this way, and I think Obama doesn’t either. President Obama personally went to the House Republicans to sell this package, which says a lot. But in the end, no support was given from the Republicans.

The reason why the Republicans are so against this bill is because they don’t feel there’s enough in the package to help. They feel there needs to be more tax cuts. And the reason why all the Democrats voted for it is because their Nancy Pelosi’s little robots. Their so afraid to vote against the bill or her because they won’t get the support when it comes time to run again for their jobs. We need to have a more balance House and Senate, it would keep everyone in check.

Health Problems!

Every American is feeling the affect of this recession, either by financial problems or health problems. And the reason I say health problems is because many Americans are cutting their spending habits on healthy foods. They may be saving money now, but will be consuming unhealthy foods. I read that a lot of experts on weight problems think Americans are going to increase their weight because of these unhealthy foods. And the end result will be more overweight Americans. And when this happens, people becoming overweight they will seek out Effective Diet Pills. So in the end you really don’t save any money, because your buying diet pills and weight loss programs. So what I’m trying to say is eat healthy, you’ll feel a lot better about yourself.

Treasury Department!

It seems the U.S. Senate has just put another crock into President Obama’s administration. The new head at the Treasury Department is Timothy Geithner. Before taking on this new job he was the President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. If you don’t know why he’s being called a crock, well he’s why. There was a span of 4 years where he failed to pay income tax on money he earned as a consultant. A person that doesn’t pay his taxes is now in charge of the Treasury Department, only in America. And some of our Senate members fault the same way, he got 60 votes out of 94.

Price Drops!

It seems that airlines are dropping their rates to keep on track with Southwest Airlines price drop. Southwest Airline started a promotion to sell seats to almost everywhere they fly. And their doing it for the low price of $49 to $99 one way, which is a great deal. To fly around trip for less than a $100 is almost unheard of. This deal just might get people traveling again. Of course there are a few rules, so make sure you read everything before you make your purchase. As always my concern is my luggage and will it arrive with me. They should come up with a promotion that states your airfare fee is free if your luggage doesn’t arrive with you. Now that would get people flying again.
