Star Running Back!

I was just reading about the San Diego Chargers are considering on trading or just release their star running back of 8 seasons, LaDainian Tomlinson. The guy gets hurt in their final game and now they want to let him go. This would be the biggest mistake since they dropped their star linebacker Junior Seau a few years back. I don’t even think its about money, but very well could be. I think Tomlinson has a few good years left in him, and would gladly take him on the Vikings. Although we already have a great running back, finally, but he can’t hold on to the football. And when you fumble during key downs you can’t win games. And that’s what happen to the Vikings this year. Anyway, that’s why I would take Tomlinson any day of the week. He just needs a little time off to heal up and get some good strength equipment to get back to top performance. I also feel this is no way to treat the NFL MVP of 2006 when he ran for a record 28 touchdowns. Which by the way he had a total 31 touchdowns and 186 points. So let him get well and treat your franchise player a little better.

Lights Out!

The lights are out for Bank of America Corp. It’s time to turn on the emergency lights to see what’s left of them. The company had reported the first quarterly loss in about 17 years. The lost is mostly their own doing, because of their backroom deals with the U.S. Government to take over Merrill Lynch, which was a bad idea. Their bad choice making has also hurt Wall Street over the many months. Now I read the U.S. Government is handing them a multibillion-dollar lifeline. This lifeline is a thank you for taking over Merrill Lynch, which lost a record $15.31 billion in just one quarter. This is really bad business by our owe government, and these backroom deals should never happen again. Right now we have banks threaten to go bankrupt unless we help. I say let them, then the government can come in and take over the bank, we’re going to own them in no time anyways. I’m just getting sick of banks, it’s time to sleep with our money.

US Airways Jetliner Crashed!

I logged on the net tonight and instantly saw that a US Airways jetliner had crashed into the Hudson River in NYC. According to the article it had happened right around 3:30 p.m. est, right after take off. As I read on I was totally surprised to read that there was no reported deaths or major injuries. One eyewitnesses of the crash said that “it looked like a control crash into the water.” If that’s the case when I fly US Airways again I want that pilot. And the reason why for the control crash is something had to go wrong with power on the plane. There’s a report going around that the plane could have became disable when it hit a flock of birds. I have read in the past that planes are delayed all the time when birds are in the area, so this could happen. What happens is when birds get sucked into the engine it instantly blows it. And that’s what could have happened here, that’s what they think. Anyway, I came across the article on Yahoo if you want to read more on it. And I also wanted to add that from the images I saw it seemed that ferries in the area responded to the crash first, as they did on 9/11. These ferries operators saved a lot lives today, as they did on 9/11 when they moved thousands of people out of the city.
