Cable Or Dish TV?

There are so many people out there that would say cable is much better than a dish provider. On the other hand there is just has many people that would say that a dish provider is better than cable TV. I could see both sides on this. The dish providers offer more channels and other features you could purchase, like the NFL Ticket. Although you may not have your local channels included you do still get a lot of TV with good clear reception. Now with cable TV you do get all your local channels, which in some areas could be a big deal. You also do get the choice of pay per view features. Both do offer good TV programs with fair prices. So, do your research; come up with a plan on what you want. Look over all features on both sides and make your choice. Or, turn the TV off and go outside!

World’s Economy!

As most of you know, and feeling, the world’s economy is in the worst shape it’s been in since the great depression in the 1930’s. Lately just as things seem to be getting better something happens for the worst. It seems like every day you hear that more and more people are losing their jobs. I read that the America unemployed is at it’s highest it’s ever been. Right now the national unemployment is sitting at almost 9 percent. And many of these people have no where to turn to pay their bills. Most are using their credit cards to help get by until they find work. This people are going to be taking on so much debt their going to need good Debt Management skills to stay above water. And if your not a good debt manager your going to need to find help. Because you can only pay for things on a credit card for so long. So before you turn to your credit cards try asking family for the money first. And once your back on your feet do your best to pay your family back first, then your credit cards. If you find that hard seek help from a debt consolidation referral service, they will put you back on track.

Traveling Insurance!

My wife and I are in the process of planning a vacation right now, and will be checking out the cost of international travel insurance. I have heard that getting travel insurance could save a ton of money if something ever went wrong. Think about it, if you’re over seas and something dramatically goes wrong you could be stuck with a huge bill. And that’s not somthing I’m willing to take on at this time, or any time. Or how about if an airline cancels a fight, and you need to be at port for a cruise, I’ve worried about that before. I don’t think the boat is going to wait for you, and the airline isn’t going to help much either. Anyway read up on getting some travel insurance, because I’m going too.

MySpace Or Facebook!

Social networking is hear to stay. If you made that statement in the early stages of MySpace in 2004 people would have said your crazy. But the co-founders of MySpace Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson didn’t think so. They built one of the largest social networking platforms in the world. But things stated to go down hill when a much cleaner social networking platform came on the seen, Facebook. And most of you would agree with the much cleaner statement I just made. Facebook so far hasn’t let their service run wide like MySpace. And the numbers prove that Facebook is a much better system. MySpace has around 130 million users, and Facebook is well over 200 million. And now the owners of MySpace, News Corp. are letting co-founder Chris DeWolfe go as chief executive. This is a bad move by News Corp, because DeWolfe can do whatever he wants, maybe another MySpace site. He can do this because he was under contract with News Corp, which their not renewing in anyway. News Corp. might want to pay him to not open another MySpace like site. If they don’t, who knows what he will do. Maybe he’ll just retire and enjoy his millions.
