It’s been reported that 183.6 deaths per 100,000 workers are killed a year from falls. Most of the deaths are caused from workers not wearing their safety gear, what? I’ll tell you what, if I’m a few hundred feet in the air I’m wearing every piece of safety gear I can, plus I’m buying some of the best fitness equipment I can buy to stay in shape. Now listen, I understand that their being pushed to work faster, but that’s a human life, get hooked up, stay safe. If my boss told me to work faster 200 feet up I’ll tell him to go up there and work faster, or look for work elsewhere, I would never put my family in those shoes. Whoever is doing this job should always know, the money isn’t worth dying for, put your gear on and make sure you go home at night.
