Encourage!

What can we do to help our teenager’s have good self esteem these days? It’s so hard at that age with all of the hormones rushing through their bodies. Their bodies are changing, they have such mood swings, they start to worry about their appearance, all of that kind of stuff. So, what can you do? 1, Encourage healthy eating. You don’t want to push too much or too little. Your kids can sit around and eat junk food but you don’t want to deprive them of it either. 2, Encourage exercise. Again- an area to be careful in. 3, If needed, help your teen find a good acne face wash to prevent break outs. Having a lot of acne can really ruin ones self esteem. 4, Encourage their interests. Don’t push yours onto your child- he or she has a mind of his or her own.

Computer Problems!

As most of you know, I’m in the market for a new laptop. Not to long ago my little one pushed on my screen breaking the hinges that control the screen. This caused the screen to flop back and forth. What that means is, some ducktape was used to help hold the screen up. Now it’s not that I can’t afford a new laptop, it’s that I’m afraid of transferring all my files from one to the other. Transfering data from one hard drive to another isn’t going to be fun at all. My father in-law has been telling me to get an external hard drive to back up data, but I never did. Maybe someday I’ll get one, but I still have access to my laptop, so that’s not going to be a problem. The problem is going to be the time it’s going to take me to complete the data transfer. Anyway, hopefully my wireless network will contect the 2 laptops, which should make it easy to complete.
