One of the greatest things about watching movies on demand is the ability to control the action, just as if the VCR or DVD was playing. The only drawback is the choices that are available, but on satellite tv from bestchoicetv.comthis is never a problem. There are a great variety of choice in any genre, and finding something entertaining is never a problem.

A recent viewing experience was an older western called Silverado. Written by Lawrence Kasdan, it revolved around brothers played by Scott Glenn and a young Kevin Costner who meet up with drifters Paden and Mal played by Kevin Kline and Danny Glover respectively. They band into a group to fight a common enemy — a ruthless sheriff (Brian Dennehy) who runs the town of Silverado with an iron fist.

After breaking Jake and Paden out of jail, the group saves a wagon train gold, rescues their sister from a house fire and has a final climatic shoot out with the sheriff gone bad and his gang of deputies.

With an all star cast including John Cleese, Rosanne Arquette and Jeff Goldblum, this film was well written and superbly acted all the way through. It is definitely a must see for any admirers of the western genre.
