Times are really tough right now for a lot of us. More and more people are losing their jobs because their employers profits are way down. And on top of everything going wrong here in the U.S., companies across the world are cutting back on employee raises as well. And now with the problems with the global economy putting everyone’s jobs are at risk. If you’re one of the lucky ones that gets a severance package should do something with it. You should consider looking into the business opportunities of starting a home business. The opportunities for home base businesses are huge right now. Everyone is just down right tired of getting laid off every time bad times hit us. Anyway, consider going into business for your self. There are a lot of grants out there that can get you started. Do your research to become your owe boss.

The Markets!

It seems that the credit market has finally thawed somewhat. Today on Wall Street the Dow industrial average rose by a few more points. With this month starting to look a lot better than last it might be time to consider unlocking your pension before you are 55. By taking your money out of stocks and lowering your risk is looking to be the way of choice. If I was older than 55 I would be investing my money at a low risk level. Another crazy idea I read about that people living in the UK are doing is a pension loan. Not sure if this is a good idea, but I read it could be legal.

Anyway the rise of Wall Street was mostly because of the rest of the world markets showing decent increases in their market value. And new reports coming out are being more neutral compared to negative over the last few months. I read the people in the UK, Pension Holders are looking for ideas to tap their money, not a bad idea, it might all fall apart again.

Going Shopping!

I came across a site where you can save up to 75% on hundreds of electronics brands. These guys offer some of the best prices I’ve come across in a long time. Although the site has a lot of category’s to search in, my favorite is looking at electronics category. I’m an electronics and sports guy, so anything related to that stuff I’m looking. So go ahead and at lease give them a look over. And you never know, you might find a great deal offered no where else.

Unemployment Up!

Here we go again with more and more jobs being cut. The last few weeks it had been bad for the U.S. work force. The people laid off or terminated seeking unemployment benefits jumped last week, stated the government. The Labor Department reported new applications for unemployment was up once again. This is way up compared to last weeks numbers, even over the last year. I read somewhere that they think this is a good thing because the private jobs were up. This rise was not expected, matter of fact people thought unemployment was going to go down. Sounds like I need to get my medical resume updated because those are the only jobs out there right now. I don’t care what anyone else is saying, things are not getting better.
