File Sharing!

Last week I read about a woman from Minn. that she was sharing her downloaded music through a peer to peer network and got caught. But that’s only half the story. She decided to fight it in court back in 2007, which she lost. Her fine was $222,000, based on 24 songs she violated their copyright’s. But that case was set a side because the judge worded something wrong to the jury. Or she could have appealed the case, not sure. But regardless, she got another trial, which she lost again. But this time the jury awarded the recording companies $80,000 per song, which comes out to $1.92 million. The woman said she doesn’t have that amount of money and they will never see it, and that may be so. But here’s the kicker, the recording companies where willing to close the case with a $3,000 to $5,000 fine from the start of both trials. This hard headed woman clearly broke the law, but wants to fight anyway. She needs to wipe out hear flash drive and settle with these companies. From what I read their still willing to settle for the $3,000 to $5,000 fine, she better take it.

Event Tickets!

I came across a site tonight where you can get concert tickets for just about any event going on right now. You can simply click on the state you live and see if there’s any events going on in your area. I’m not kidding here, this site is loaded with places to get to the event you want to. The part I like the best is that you can simply plug in your zip code and click search. I tried it and events in my area that are going on where their, like the circus that’s going on right now. I like this site, and I think anyone the visits it does as well. Check it, you just might find an event you want to go to.

Gambling Online!

I normally don’t post about gambling online, or better yet even talk about poker tournaments. That’s because I don’t always come across sites that are worth writing about. But when I came across the site called Online Casino Bluebook I thought that some of you could use the information posted on their site. They also state on their site they offer a free service for finding safe and certified online casinos. They also state that they have experience personal that review and test each site they list. And then they rank them so you will have only the best to choose from. I would however recommend that you do your own research to make sure your using and playing with only the certified online casinos. Getting ripped off is worst than losing in my opinion, and most others. Me personally I haven’t played online in awhile, so I don’t have any idea who to recommend where to play. But when I did play I had a lot of fun, even though I lost a few poker games. So go ahead and check their site out, you never know, they just might help you find a great and trusting online casino.

Cable Or Dish TV?

There are so many people out there that would say cable is much better than a dish provider. On the other hand there is just has many people that would say that a dish provider is better than cable TV. I could see both sides on this. The dish providers offer more channels and other features you could purchase, like the NFL Ticket. Although you may not have your local channels included you do still get a lot of TV with good clear reception. Now with cable TV you do get all your local channels, which in some areas could be a big deal. You also do get the choice of pay per view features. Both do offer good TV programs with fair prices. So, do your research; come up with a plan on what you want. Look over all features on both sides and make your choice. Or, turn the TV off and go outside!
