I read about a story where Sydney’s largest tourist pubs severed a nasty desert to a family. The family is accusing the pub for serving human fecal matter in their gelato because they complained about noise during a sporting event. They where trying to watch the match but couldn’t hear it because the music was to load. Anyway the pub patron and his wife became violently ill after eating their dessert. If they did this there pub should be shout down forever. During the investigation the State government food minister did confirmed that frozen fecal matter was found in a serving of chocolate gelato offered to them. But on the other hand, the pub had sent samples of the desert out to be tested on their own and found no fecal matter. I would like to know where they got the fecal matter. I did read that the chef and restaurant manager did volunteer to give up their DNA to prove their innocence. There’s more to this story but I’m heading to my Kohler kitchen sink , I’m getting sick thinking about it.

The FDA confirms that they found salmonella in a single package of its peanut butter crackers produced by Kellogg Co. Now it’s time to do a full recall on every product made with peanut butter. But this won’t happen until more people get sick. I haven’t heard about any major recall as of yet. I could have missed it, but don’t think I did. I do know that Kellogg had already recalled 16 of their products because of the chance of salmonella contamination. But what I want to know is why hasn’t the FDA start forcing this crap of the shelves. I did read that stores to protect their customers are pulling, but not all of them. Anyway, as of today at least six people have died and almost 500 got sick. And I read that there are also close to 100 people in the hospital, some in serious condition. The real question is why didn’t the FDA pick up on this sooner? I know for a fact that the FDA has inspectors checking on food processing plants. It seems they could have dropped the ball on this one.

Did you all hear that Starbucks is now going to offer smoothies.  I guess they need to do something new, because they’re losing customers fast.  Did you know that McDonald’s coffee beat out Starbucks in a 2007 taste test, which was conducted by Consumer Reports?  That’s right, McDonald’s has better coffee than Starbucks.  And I would have to say I agree.  I have been saying for years that Starbucks is so over rated.  I never really cared for there coffee.  Anyway, Starbucks is trying to become like a Dunkin’ Donuts, but with much higher prices.  I think I’m going to stay with my pot of coffee at home.
