My husband works a lot, so sometimes I feel neglected. We moved to a new city for his job, so I don’t have a lot of friends here and end up spending a lot of time alone. He is an emergency medicine doctor, so I know he has a high stress job, but I wish he would make more of an effort to spend time with me. He always tells me things are going to get better, but I have stopped believing him. I think that one of the reasons that we’re friends is that we’re all intensely competitive.
