Getting Sleep!

I just came across an article tonight about something I’ve been noticing lately. The story was about how recruits for fire and ambulance services are overweight. Researchers studied candidates from the Massachusetts Firefighter and ambulance services. These researchers found out that 77 percent of the recruits were overweight or considered obese. This is a major problem for the city‘s and towns who will need them be ready to go at the drop of a hat. I do know that fire departments require their men a women to work out on a regular bases. This keeps them in shape and ready to help people when called on. If you ask me I think our firefighters and ambulance workers should all be assigned a nice mattress to sleep on, a treadmill and a good set of weights. This way they will be will rested and in the best of shape of their lives. I sure hope this problem of overweight public service members is solved very soon, for their sake and ours.

Seeing Things!

Not to long ago my wife was cooking dinner and all of a sudden she saw these white cloudy flashes in her eyes. She was trying to check facebook while waiting for dinner to finish and the spots she was seeing were so bad that she couldn’t even read her screen. She told me that tt scared her a bit because she had been coughing so much she started to think she had somehow damaged her eyes with coughing so hard. After about 20 minutes or so they started to fade. I looked it up on the internet and found what she was describing is called floaters. I guess it’s not all that unusual but it was pretty weird for me. I immediately started thinking that something was wrong, but she was fine. I told her to stop using her wrinkle cream, she told me that wasn’t the problem.

Finding A Pill!

Anyone out their thinking of taking a diet pill or a multivitamins? Or maybe your already tried a few and none have done the job for you. Maybe some have even made you sick, and your wondering if the same happen to others. What I would recommend is finding a website that offers it’s users reviews from real people using these pills. Finding reviews that are based on real feedback from user who have tried pills will help you make an informed choice. When you visit a site you will what to see what others say, not the site owners. Before you purchase your next pill do as much research as you can to make the right choice.

Getting More Sleep!

In todays world our youth, or next generation if you well is the unhealthiest generation ever, in my opinion. Most kids today are extremely overweight due to eating, drinking unhealthy foods and not sleeping good at night. I guess that’s really only one part of it, the other part is not exercising. In my opinion most of the time it’s really not the kids fault, it’s the parents. If we had more parents purchase healthier foods and drinks we might not have all these overweight kids. Now, the most important way to lose weight is exercising and getting a good night of sleep. We as parents should be buying good food to eat, and a great bed mattresses to sleep on, which can improve your health and your kids. We as parents should always look around within our local community for sports and actives for our kids to get involved in. If they’re engaged in an actively they’re not snacking in front of the TV.
