Another Rate Cut!

With the U.S. and World financial markets spinning down out of control, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is thinking of cutting the interest rate again. But he won’t be alone with this cut; other world markets will be doing the same. We will have to wait for this next rate cut though. The Fed will meet again Dec. 16, which will be their last regular meeting this year. With the U.S. economy in its worst shape ever we might need this rate cut sooner. But then again will this rate cut even be enough to help our economy, I really don’t know. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens next. Hopefully Bernanke will be able to pull a fresh start out of his hat.

Vote Now!

With just about two weeks left before we decide our next president early voting is already an all-time high. It seems that a lot of Americans are getting out the vote now instead of waiting in long lines. According to election officials November 4th will still have a huge turnout of voters. There are still a lot of people out there that haven’t really decided who they’re going to vote for. I personally am still undecided. Maybe because I’m still waiting for either one of them to say something I need to hear. And that is the truth, which neither has really come clean yet on what their plans are. Both candidates talk a big game, and they both feed our minds with what they’re going to do to make it a better America for everyone. But my question to both of them is, where in the world are you going to get all this money to do what you’re saying you’re going to do? Anyway, I’m like a lot Americans out there, still waiting for the truth, and hopefully it will come before Election Day.

ACORN Again!

It seems that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is starting up their old ways. They’re going out in minority and poor neighborhoods looking for people to register. The problem is that most of the people filling out the registration cards are using bogus names, like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. If the employees for ACORN would look at the cards before they turn them in this wouldn’t be a problem. But there not looking, and in most cases are filling out the cards with false information on there owe. The employees for ACORN, which are part time works must be getting paid based on amount of registration cards turned in. I did read that the FBI is looking into cases related to ACORN turning in false cards. I would like to say that Obama thinks this isn’t a problem. And McCain feels this is a huge case of voter fraud. I would have to agree with McCain on this one, voter fraud is no joke. I think I once read somewhere that Obama used to work for or did work with ACORN, not sure though. Anyway, we need to get voting laws under control, and stop voter fraud.

Wall Street Fluctuating!

The Dow Jones industrial average opened today down 250 points. And the main reason for this was that the government said new home construction dropped, which was more than anyone had expected. They also said that this is the lowest since early 1991. No kidding, no one is able to get a loan to buy a home. And on top of that, if you’re a homeowner your home is own in value. Did they really expect any good news coming out of the housing market? And on top of everything else going wrong who really has any money left to buy a home with. With Wall Street losing about $2.4 trillion in shareholder wealth. The wild rollercoaster ride the Dow Jones industrial average has given us is unbelievable. I’m hoping for a good day on Wall Street today. I will take any dollar amount in the green. At this point for Wall Street, a plus day is a good day.
