Exiting Polls!

I don’t believe in exit polling data, do you? I ask this because in 2004 Democrat John F. Kerry would have won if the data being reported was true. People don’t always state the truth on who they vote for when exiting. And most people don’t feel they should state this information to exiting polling people. And you know what, I agree, stay away. There should be a law in polling people on who they voted for. These polling people make voters feel very uneasy. So lets wait to all the votes are counted before we state who won.

Prank Call!

Sarah Palin took a phone call Saturday from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The only thing was that it wasn’t Nicolas Sarkozy, it was a prank call. And the funny thing about this is Sarah Palin never knew it. The pranksters where well known Montreal comedy duo Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel. These 2 had her going, ask a series of questions. One of the jokes was French President Nicolas Sarkozy asked her to go hunting with him. Then he said they shouldn’t bring Dick Cheney because of the time when he shot his friend hunting in 2006. Anyway, Palin’s campaign spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt confirmed she had received the prank call. The call is set to air Monday on a Quebec radio station. If you can pickup this radio station I bet you’ll get a good laugh, or not.

Fed Slashes Interest Rate!

The Fed slashed the interested rate used to lending to banks to 1 percent on Wednesday. Just this month alone the interest rate has been cut by a full 1 percent. The interest rate hasn’t been this low in five years. The interest has never been as lower since 1958. So we’re pretty close to seeing history if there’s another interest rate drop. The man in charge is Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. I was reading that he and his colleagues stated that they would “monitor economic and financial developments carefully and will act as needed to promote sustainable economic growth and price stability.” And I believe he will do as he stated. This cut is showing that the markets at close to the bottom and are ready to come up. Look what happen when the rate was reduced, the Dow dropped? But now it’s on its way back up, and could stay up for the next few days. Who knows, the bottom could have been reached and now it’s on the rise. I sure hope so, I done with it being down.

Hockey Mom!

Did you all hear about this? It seems that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is dropping first pucks at a few NHL games this month. At the St. Louis Blues game the goalie Manny Legace left after one period because he got hurt when he slipped on Sarah Palin’s carpet. He said that it hurt really bad, but was just hoping it would go away, the pain. Man, that really sucks for Legace, he’s the St. Louis Blues star goalie. Next time they shouldn’t put the carpet so freaked close to the box. Legace will miss the next game few games, but will be back with no problems. I say, way to go Sarah, you should give Legace a call saying sorry.
